1- is to clean up speech; the redundancy of speech is
unnecessary in writing, their logic suggests, because writing unlike speech,
can be reread. Thus redoing means cleaning up the paper and crossing out.
3-that we are able to change writing without having to
apologize or say we miss worded, but word and speech can’t be retraced except
by saying that that one retraces it.
5-that experienced writers see the writing process like
one thing, they write, revise, brainstorm, all at the same time, but
inexperienced writers have to do each step by itself.
7-they were taught that in schools. Yes, it does match
what I have been taught my entire life.
